Dedham's James Joyce Ramble pairs a competitive 10K road race with costumed actors stationed along the course reading passages from Joyce's Ulysses to passing runners. Held every April since 1980 at the Endicott Estate, it doubles as a USA Masters Championship race. The combination of literature and road racing draws runners from well beyond Massachusetts.
