A free four-day music festival in downtown Jacksonville over Memorial Day weekend, anchored by a piano competition at the Florida Theatre and national headliners on the riverfront stage. It began in 1979 as a one-day concert in Mayport and is one of the country's longest-running free jazz festivals. (2027 dates approximate, based on the usual Memorial Day weekend slot.)
