The I-500 is a one-mile ice oval race billed as the world's largest single-day snowmobile endurance race, run in Sault Ste. Marie every February since 1969. Racers complete 500 grueling laps in front of grandstand crowds; the date below follows its usual early-February slot and will firm up as the organisers publish it.
