Graves Mountain Farm holds its Apple Harvest Festival on the first three weekends of October, with pick your own orchards, hayrides, a petting zoo, and live bluegrass bands every day. The family farm at the foot of the Blue Ridge has run the festival for decades and draws visitors from Washington DC and Charlottesville. Meals are served buffet style from the farm's own kitchen.
