An annual January dinner in the Arkansas County town of Gillett, sponsored since 1947 by the Gillett Farmers and Businessmen's Club to raise college scholarships for local students. Roughly 1,200 people, including much of the state's political class, gather in the old high school gymnasium for a meal built around raccoon; incumbents may speak, challengers may not.
