Downtown Geneva celebrates Ashtabula County's grape growing industry each September with a grape stomping contest, a parade, wine and juice tastings, and a culinary competition. The festival has run since the 1960s and always falls on the last full weekend of September. Ashtabula County is Ohio's largest grape growing region.

The Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival celebrates the county's 19 covered bridges, home to both the shortest and longest covered bridges in the country, with a driving tour, craft vendors and a quilt show each October.
The Geauga County Maple Festival takes over Chardon Square with a parade, a pancake breakfast, lumberjack competitions and a maple syrup contest tied to the county's maple sugaring tradition.
