A Mother's Day tradition celebrating Robert McCloskey's 1941 book Make Way for Ducklings, with activity booths and live music on Boston Common leading into a children's parade, many dressed as ducklings, ending at the bronze duckling statues in the Public Garden. Organized by the Friends of the Public Garden for more than two decades, it draws families from across the region.
