The Deerfield Lions Club's chili cook-off fills Fireman's Park with a car and tractor show, live bands, cornhole and a competitive chili tasting where teams cook at least four gallons each. It is a small-town tradition that funds the club's community service work east of Madison. The cook-off runs from 9am on a late-September Saturday.
