The Currahee Challenge is an annual 5K and 10K up Currahee Mountain, the training site made famous by the 501st and 506th Parachute Infantry Regiments later depicted in Band of Brothers. It is sponsored by the Currahee Military Museum and finishes on the same trail paratroopers ran in WWII training.
