The Buzz Sawyer Western Maryland Marathon runs marathon, half marathon and 10K distances along the flat, paved Western Maryland Rail Trail out of Hancock. Runners come from across the region for one of the flattest certified courses in the state. The 2026 race is the 11th annual.
