The Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival celebrates the county's 19 covered bridges, home to both the shortest and longest covered bridges in the country, with a driving tour, craft vendors and a quilt show each October. The festival has run since the 1980s and is centered in Jefferson. It draws visitors from across the region to tour the bridges.
