Anime Matsuri fills the George R. Brown Convention Center each summer with anime and Japanese pop culture programming, cosplay contests, guest voice actors and an artist alley. It is one of the longest running anime conventions in the South, dating back to the mid 2000s. The event draws attendees from across Texas and beyond.
