Addison Circle Park hosts North Texas's take on the Munich celebration each September, with polka bands, biergartens and stein holding contests. The festival began in 1987 and is one of the longest running Oktoberfest celebrations in the country. It runs four days, timed to open the same weekend as the original in Munich.
