The world's littlest skyscraper
1919
Wichita Falls, Texas

A promoter sold investors a skyscraper during the oil boom with blueprints marked in inches instead of feet, built exactly what the fine print said, a four-story tower forty feet tall, and left town with the money. The courts ruled the investors had approved the plans. It still stands, occupied, magnificent.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
