The Time Out off 155
13540 State Highway 155 South, Tyler, Texas
![]()
Whiskey Myers put out "Broken Window Serenade" on the album Firewater in 2011, a song about watching a woman come apart, and one line places her: she works down at the Time Out off 155. There was exactly one Time Out off Highway 155, a gentlemen's club at 13540 State Highway 155 South on the south edge of Tyler, and the band is from Palestine an hour down the road, so East Texas has always read the line as this building.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
