The Parthenon built
1897
Centennial Park, Nashville
White.alister.t · CC BY-SA 4.0 · Wikimedia Commons
A full-scale replica raised for the state's centennial exposition, when Nashville called itself the Athens of the South. Meant to be temporary, rebuilt permanently in concrete, and the only full-size copy of the Parthenon anywhere.
