The Parks Mall leaves Arlington with one indoor mall
1988
Arlington, Texas

The Parks opened in 1988 at Interstate 20 and Cooper Street, out on the south edge of town where the growth was heading. Forum 303 and Six Flags Mall, both closer to the old centre, closed and were demolished, leaving this the only indoor shopping centre in a city of 400,000. It runs to 1.5 million square feet.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
