The Haymarket Martyrs' Monument
1893
Forest Park, Illinois

The men convicted and hanged after the 1886 Haymarket bombing are buried here under a bronze by Albert Weinert, raised in 1893 by supporters who held that the trial had been a frame up. The bombing itself was never solved. Emma Goldman and other radicals arranged to be buried near the monument, and it was made a National Historic Landmark in 1997.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
