An Ohio industrialist and his wife bought their first Dalí in 1943 and never stopped, ending with the largest collection outside Europe and nowhere to put it. A Wall Street Journal notice asking who wanted it produced a group of St. Petersburg lawyers who assembled the offer in a weekend. The building's glass bubble is engineered for a Category 5 hurricane. The vault walls are eighteen inches of concrete.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
