The Bellingham-Cary House is the only 18th century building left in Chelsea
1724
Chelsea, Massachusetts

Built in 1724 on Parker Street, this house may wrap around the frame of a 1659 hunting lodge belonging to colonial governor Richard Bellingham. Two fires and a century of industry took everything else of that age in Chelsea, so it stands alone. It is run as a house museum and was listed on the National Register in 1974.
