The American Treasure Tour, a million objects in a dead tire plant
2010
Oaks, Pennsylvania
B.F. Goodrich opened a tire factory at Oaks in 1937 and ran it until 1986. Since 2010 more than 100,000 square feet of the building has held one anonymous collector's hoard, including one of the largest private collections of nickelodeons, band organs, calliopes and photoplayers anywhere. Classic cars, circus art and dollhouses fill the rest, and visitors are driven through the stacks on a tram.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
