Rainbow Bridge

San Juan County, Utah

The largest natural bridge in the world at 290 feet, sacred to the Navajo, Hopi, Paiute and Ute. Reaching it once took a two-day ride. Lake Powell now brings boats to within half a mile, and the tribes ask visitors not to walk beneath it.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
