Orange Hall, one of the first Greek Revival houses in the country

The Presbyterian minister Horace Southworth Pratt had this house built on Osborne Street around 1830, when the columned Greek Revival style was still new in America and almost nobody was building it out of wood. It is named for the sour orange trees that once ringed the lot. The National Register took it in 1973, the Georgia Trust put it on the state's ten most endangered list in 2011, and it is open to the public today as a house museum.
