Irving Lundy's seafood house seated between 2,400 and 2,800 people and served a million a year. The Spanish Colonial Revival building by Bloch and Hesse, with its tiers of red tile roof and leadlight windows, opened in 1934 and closed in 1979. It is a city landmark and now holds shops. It was the last survivor of the row of seafood restaurants that used to line the bay.
