Francois LeBeau finished this house in 1854 and died the same year. It later spent two decades as the Cardone Hotel, survived an arson attempt in 1986, and stood boarded up after Katrina as one of the last plantation houses left below New Orleans. In November 2013 seven men who had spent the night inside the empty building looking for ghosts set it alight, and it burned to the ground.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
