George W. P. Hunt was elected governor of Arizona seven times, beginning on the day the territory became a state in 1912. He had this small white pyramid built on a butte in Papago Park in 1931 to hold his wife Helen, and he was placed inside himself after his death in 1934. Their daughter and several of Helen's relatives are buried there too. The National Register listed the tomb in 2008.
