Vinotok
Crossroads Fire Circle, Crested Butte, CO
![]()
A week-long harvest festival in Crested Butte built around Slavic and Celtic pagan tradition, culminating in a torchlit procession and the ceremonial burning of the Grump, a giant effigy loaded with the town's collective grievances. Locals have staged Vinotok since 1990 as a homegrown counterpart to the resort town's more polished summer events. The week runs in mid to late September around the fall equinox.
