Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention

Known as the Granddaddy of Mid-South Fiddlers Conventions, this competition has drawn old-time and bluegrass musicians to Athens State University since 1967. Hundreds of contestants compete across fourteen categories for state champion titles while informal jam sessions fill the campus. Roughly 150 craft and food vendors set up alongside the four days of music.
