Rondo Days
Martin Luther King Recreation Center, Saint Paul, MN
Rondo Days is Saint Paul's largest African American sponsored festival, honoring the historic Rondo neighborhood that was divided when Interstate 94 was built through it in the 1960s. The day includes a parade, a drill team competition, live music, and food vendors centered at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center. It was founded in 1982 by Floyd G. Smaller and Marvin R. Anderson.
