Old Sacramento Gold Rush Days
Old Sacramento Waterfront, Sacramento, CA
Every Labor Day weekend, dirt is spread over Old Sacramento's cobblestones and the historic district reenacts an 1850s gold rush town, with costumed performers, wagon rides, gold panning, and old-time music on multiple stages. Free to attend, it has run since 1998 and draws more than 130,000 visitors.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
