Northwest Washington Fair
Northwest Washington Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1775 Front St, Lynden, WA
The Northwest Washington Fair is a ten day agricultural and carnival fair held each August at the fairgrounds in Lynden. It began as a Lynden merchants street fair in 1909 and was renamed the Northwest Washington Fair in 1923, growing into one of the largest county level fairs in the state. It now draws roughly 200,000 visitors for livestock shows, a rodeo, a demolition derby, and grandstand concerts.
