A festival in Fairgrove celebrating Michigan's dry bean industry, running for more than 75 years. Labor Day weekend brings a parade, a Bean Queen pageant, a demolition derby and a craft show to the festival grounds on Liberty Street. Michigan is the nation's leading producer of black and several other dry bean varieties.
