Flying Pig Marathon
Vine Street, Downtown Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH
A marathon weekend through downtown Cincinnati and along the Ohio River, first run in 1999 when 6,163 entrants from 13 countries showed up for what organizers had expected to be a field of 3,000. Races now range from a 5K to the full 26.2 miles, with the marathon starting on Vine Street. Held every year on the first weekend of May, it draws runners from across the country.
