Flushing Lunar New Year Parade
Main Street corridor, Flushing, NY
The largest Lunar New Year parade on the East Coast, running along Main Street in Flushing, Queens since 1997 with rotating Chinese and Korean lead delegations. It combines lion and dragon dances, marching bands, and community floats celebrating the neighborhood's Asian immigrant communities. It is held on a weekend near the lunar new year, typically in late January or February.
