Fisherman's Feast
North & Fleet Streets, North End, Boston, MA
The Fisherman's Feast has honored the Madonna del Soccorso on North and Fleet Streets in Boston's North End since 1910, making it the neighborhood's oldest continuously running Italian feast. Fishing families open the weekend with a blessing of the waters at Christopher Columbus Park. The feast closes with the Flight of the Angel, when a child dressed as an angel descends on a wire to greet the Madonna's statue.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
