Residents of Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in America, open their 18th and 19th century homes to visitors for one afternoon each June. The tradition dates to 1934 and serves as a fundraiser for the Elfreth's Alley Association, with costumed reenactors, musicians, and artisan crafters along the colonial era street.
