Dorchester Day Parade
Dorchester Ave & Richmond St, Lower Mills, to Columbia Rd, Boston, MA
One of Boston's oldest neighborhood parades, marching 3.2 miles up Dorchester Avenue from Lower Mills to Columbia Road each June to mark the town's 1630 founding. First held in 1905, it remains one of the largest civic parades in Boston's largest neighborhood, drawing community groups, marching bands and thousands of spectators.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
