Banana Festival
Lake Street, Downtown Fulton, Fulton, KY
A week long festival in the twin cities of Fulton, Kentucky and South Fulton, Tennessee, which once served as a major banana unloading point for river and rail shipments from Central America. Events include a parade and the ceremonial slicing of a one ton banana pudding served to the crowd. The festival dates to 1963 and is billed as the only one of its kind.
