American Indian Exposition
Caddo County Fairgrounds, Anadarko, OK
Thirteen Southern Plains tribes gather at the Caddo County Fairgrounds for dance competitions, a princess pageant, and one of Oklahoma's largest all-Indian parades. The exposition has run since 1932, making it one of the state's oldest intertribal gatherings. It fills a full week each August with crafts, contests, and ceremonial dancing.
