The O’Hare catering cart
O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois
Still from the original video
A catering cart working this apron on 30 September 2019 started moving on its own. The airline said afterwards that a heavy carton of water bottles had dropped onto the accelerator while the cart sat parked beside the aircraft. It spun in circles at speed next to a loaded regional jet until an Envoy Air ramp worker, Jorge Manalang, climbed onto a pushback tug and drove it into the cart to stop it. Nobody was hurt and the flight left about ten minutes late. The cart went over on its side and put the drinks it was carrying across the apron, which is the state this video finds it in.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
