Stand by Me

The town of Castle Rock, where four boys walk the railroad tracks to find a body and lose their childhood on the way, is this small Oregon mill town. It holds a Stand by Me day every summer at the end of July, and the fence the boys climb and the field they cross are marked for the people who come to walk the same line of track.
That was 1 of the hidden places.
