The angry warehouse dance, where a boy works the anger out of himself among the grain sacks, was filmed in a real flour mill still running today. The town in the film bans dancing. The actual town let a movie about a dancing ban shoot in its century-old mill, and the mill has the film's name painted on its silos to prove it.
