Downtown Franklin's Main Street closes to traffic each November for Wine Down Main Street, where guests 21 and older sample wines poured by more than 20 participating shops. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, which has run the event for 25 years. A separate VIP tasting is held inside the historic Franklin Theatre.
