A grape harvest festival held atop St. Mary's Mountain at Wiederkehr Wine Cellars near Altus, first held in 1963 to celebrate the mountain's Swiss and German immigrant winemaking heritage. The weekend includes a grape stomp, wine cellar tours, polka music and the crowning of a Weinfest Queen. Wiederkehr is among the oldest and largest wineries in the mid-South.
