The Westmorland Neighborhood Association has held a Fourth of July celebration in Westmorland Park since 1941, with a parade, cakewalk, live music, and a beer tent that draws thousands from the surrounding west-side neighborhoods. Midvale Heights and Sunset Village neighborhoods now co-sponsor the more than 80-year-old tradition.
