Watonga once housed Oklahoma's only cheese factory, and though it closed in 2007, the town's cheese festival has continued since 1976 with tastings, a Main Street parade, and an antique car show. More than 200 craft and food booths fill downtown over the two days. A 5K fun run called the Great Rat Race and a quilt show round out the weekend.
