On the last Friday of every month, Calle Ocho in Little Havana closes to traffic for an open-air art walk, live music, and a free historian-led walking tour through the neighborhood. It started in May 2000 and has run monthly for a quarter century, one of Miami's longest-running neighborhood traditions. Local painters, poets, and musicians fill the block between roughly 12th and 17th Avenues.
