Belleville commemorates a UFO sighting that made national news in 1987 with a parade down Main Street, alien-themed vendors and a costume contest at Library Park. It has run every fall since the mid-1990s, drawing visitors from across the Midwest to the self-proclaimed UFO Capital of Wisconsin. The parade steps off at 1pm and hands out candy to costumed kids.
