An intertribal powwow held on the grounds where Cherokee and other tribes camped during the forced removal of 1838 to 1839. Drummers and dancers from many nations gather for grand entries and competition dancing at the Trail of Tears Commemorative Park. It is held the first full weekend after Labor Day and has run since the late 1980s.
