Stone Mountain Christmas runs on weekends and holidays from early November through early January, with more than two million lights, festive live shows, and visits from holiday characters throughout the park. It is one of the largest holiday lighting displays in the Southeast.

Stone Mountain Park's Pumpkin Festival runs on fall weekends from mid-September into early November, combining daytime family activities with an evening Glow program of lit pumpkins, a parade, and a light show.
The Stone Mountain Highland Games and Scottish Festival brings pipe band and Highland athletics competitions, along with dance and fiddling contests and clan tents, to Stone Mountain Park each October.
